FB Lightning Mark III

FB Lightning Mark III represents the next evolution of the FB Lightning platform. Building on the original FB Lightning Mark II, it expands the concept into a broader performance family, offering 6, 7, and 8 string configurations, with single scale and multiscale options.
Its bolt on construction is part of that philosophy, giving us a precise, repeatable platform that supports stability, serviceability, and performance, while supporting the sustain transfer, structural response, and long term serviceability we expect from an FB Guitars instrument. This approach also supports our broader design logic, including multiple neck profile pathways developed around player feel and performance needs.
For the moment, representative development imagery from the FB Lightning line may be shown while final launch visuals for Mark III are being prepared.
FB Lightning Mark III expresses the wider FB Guitars design philosophy through a science-led approach developed around player feel, tonal response, and structural performance. Pickup placement is informed by proprietary modelling and practical testing, supported by an internal AI tone engine used to evaluate design decisions. This allows FB Guitars to refine the instrument through disciplined engineering, while keeping sensitive technical methods confidential.

FB Anubis is being developed as a distinct expression within the FB Guitars line, powerful in presence, refined in engineering, and built for players who want an instrument with authority, precision, and individuality. Like Lightning Mark III, it follows a deliberate, performance driven bolt on design approach.
Like every FB Guitars instrument, Anubis is being shaped through the same science-led design philosophy, while preserving its own identity, presence, and voice.
Full specifications and final imagery will be revealed in due course. Founders List members will be the first to receive the announcement, the first visuals, and the first release information.

FB Guitars is built on a science-led approach to guitar design. Across the range, our instruments are developed around player feel, tonal response, structural performance, and repeatable engineering logic. This does not replace craftsmanship, it sharpens it.
Our work is grounded in measurement, ergonomics, mechanical understanding, and real playing experience. We respect tradition, but we do not treat it as a limit. From geometry and balance, to pickup placement and hardware selection, every component has to justify its place. If it does not improve the instrument, it does not belong.
